Coastal Empire Horseman's Council - Members of the Georgia Federation of Saddle Clubs

What is the Coastal Empire Horseman's Council?

The Coastal Empire Horseman's Council, also known as Costal Empire Associaton or CEA, is made up of horse lovers across a 75 mile radius of Claxton, Georgia, who are focused on providing quality, family friendly and educational activities for local residents who have a love of hoses. The members of our seven clubs not only compete in Judged (performance) and Timed (running) events, but also gather for organized trail rides and develop close knit ties to other experienced, professional equestrian enthusiasts.

CEA is made up of seven saddle clubs located in Chatham, Lyons, Screven, Bulloch, Liberty, Bryan and Emanuel counties.  CEA is also one of nine non-profit equestrian associations that make up the Georgia Federation of Saddle Clubs, members compete throughout the year to earn points to compete at a state level against the other associtions that belong to the Georgia Federation of Saddle Clubs.

The top six point earners from each class of our shows will have the opportunity to compete at a state level on Labor Day weekend in Perry, GA at the Georgia National Fairgrounds. Each of the nine Associations rotate the responsibility of hosting the state show in Perry, GA. CEA hosted the show in 2009 and will be hosting it again in 2017.
